[Masami Matsuoka, jockey]
Born July 18, 1984
He is currently a jockey for the Japan Racing Association (JRA).
Maeda from Miho He made his debut at the Yoshitaka stable. After joining the Aizawa Iku stable, he has been working as a freelancer since 2013, and is also active as a musician in the band Tokyo Nobbies (vocals and guitar).

Contrary to his outgoing appearance, jockey Matsuoka Masaumi arrives at work early in the morning, before the stablehands arrive, and rides his horse to warm up.
We sincerely face horses and cherish the time we spend with them. He is a jockey who strives to build a relationship with his horses .

His toughness allows him to go straight to a band's live show after the race to sing hard rock tunes, he also takes part in the Hakone Ekiden as the water supply attendant for the Surugadai University track and field team, and he also occasionally helps liven up an izakaya as the manager for a day. His cheerful and energetic attitude in a wide range of activities outside of the race has captured the hearts of his fans even more.
